Dr. Jorge Chavarria

Born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Mexico, Dr. Jorge Chavarria acquired his education from the University of Veracruz in 1993. After receiving his degree in Veterinary Medicine, he obtained his certification by the American Veterinary Medical Association and license by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medicine Examiners.  Post graduation, Dr. Chavarria has concentrated on his practice and professional development in small animals. This includes both preventative and internal medicine, with particular interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Part of his professional development includes the presentation of the thesis “Tick born Zoonosis”. The success of his thesis assisted him in earning his degree. Dr. Chavarria is continuing his education by taking intensive courses on both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, endoscopy and internal medicine.  When Dr. Chavarria can take time off from his busy schedule, he follows his daughter’s sports schedule and has two dogs, a Golden Retriever, and a Shih Tzu and one cat.  Dr. Chavarria has an overall 25 years of experience in small animal medicine to his accreditation.  

Dr. Darlin

Dr. Darlin was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and is a UTEP graduate.  She graduated from Ross University for Veterinary School in 2012.  She has lived in Houston for 5 years and Colorado for 2 years.  Dr. Darlin, in her spare time enjoys cycling, running, hiking, traveling and time with her family.  

Dr. Vasquez

Dr. Vasquez was born and raised in El Paso, Tx.  He is a graduate of Andress High School and the Ross School of Veterinary Medicine.  After he graduated from Ross in 2012, he practiced surgery and emergency medicine in College Station, Texas.  In 2013, Dr. Vasquez and his family decided to relocate back home to raise their young family in the beautiful city of El Paso.  Dr. Vasquez and his wife; a Nurse Practitioner, have three sons, including a set of twins.  They have two dogs, a Shih Tzu and a Labradoodle.  When Dr. Vasquez is not working, he enjoys spending tine with his family and watching or playing all types of sports with his boys.   

Dr. Rojas

Dr. Caroline Rojas has been working in the El Paso area for the last 15 years and joined the Far East Animal hospital last year.  She was born and raised in El Paso.  She graduated with a Biomedical Science degree from Texas A&M University and continued her veterinary education at Texas A&M as well.  Dr. Rojas also spent 6 years working in Los Angeles and the surrounding area as a relief doctor.  She worked in over 60 hospitals (including several emergency facilities) during that time and gained extensive experience and knowledge during her stay there.  She is happy to be back home and is excited to be working at a hospital that allows her to gain and grow in her field.  

Dr. Gomez

Javier Gomez was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.  He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Texas at El Paso in 2012.  He worked for many years in the veterinary field as a technician in which he developed a love for physiology, pathology and cytology.  These interests along with a deep sympathy for his patients would push him harder to realize his longtime dream.  In 2020 he went on to graduate from Iowa State University with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.  As a veterinary student and now a veterinarian he shows particular interest in internal and emergency medicine.  In his free time, he enjoys boxing conditioning, classic literature, and spending time with friends and family.
